Ground Beef with Veggies

During the 20 years I lived with my mom, this was one of my favorite dishes that she cooked, not only because I kept asking when the food was ready and it took roughly 30 minutes, but also because it tasted amazing. So when I moved out, of course, I needed to try to cook it myself.

Ingredients needed for Ground Beef with Veggies

What you need

Here is everything you will need:
  • Ground beef: I use 96% for a more low calorie recipe but you can use whichever one you prefer.
  • Seasonings: For seasoning I use paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  • Tomato Sauce: Essential to give moisture and prevent it from drying out.
  • Veggies: Here, just grab whatever veggies you have in your fridge. I prefer to use broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, corn, and peas.

Recipe

Here is how to make this amazing recipe:
  1. Add the meat to a pan and cook it on medium heat.
  2. Reduce the heat, add the tomato sauce, spices, and veggies. If you are cooking pasta, add about 100ml of pasta water, otherwise just add water.
  3. Keep stirring for 5 minutes, then let it cook on low heat for 20 minutes and done!
